Abstract :
In the paper, thermodynamic analysis of Jetta 2V engine exhaust manifold is done by finite element analysis method, temperature field and thermal stress is calculated, and the low cycle fatigue life of the exhaust manifold is assessmented by Manson-Coffin formula. Using ANSYS software to research the thermodynamics of the exhaust manifold, is overcomed the limitations of the classical method of calculating the complex structure, is a better precise calculation method to simulate the actual operation condition of the exhaust manifold.
