Abstract
The paper introduces a patch antenna design using a newly developed jumping genes evolutionary paradigm. On the basis of multiobjective optimization, this scheme is capable of finding extra non-dominated solutions that are close the Pareto-optimal front. Each of these solutions may differ from each other in its physical structure, but the design criteria for both dual band and wideband antennas requirement could be met in simultaneous manner
