Abstract :
Based on the IEEE 1588, a Prediction-based Fairness Control (PFC) algorithm is proposed. It improves the real-time performance of star topology industry control Ethernet. The channel load is detected by delay measurement. Data flow is regulated according to the whole channel load. The main functions of this algorithm are as follows: controlled nodes are controlled to guarantee the communications of noncontrolled nodes on the premise of fairness. Because the forecast for network traffic and take reference to the load of devices, the arrival rate of switch is controlled under the available service rate. In addition, flexible parameters configuration is provided to facilitate the migration and expansion.
