  • Abstract
    Today, as the Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP) is used more and more widely in the streaming media services such as real-time video in the internet. The algorithm of RTP adaptive transmission control is an important factor to guarantee the quality of video transmission services. So, much more attention should be paid to the research on the algorithm. In this paper, on the base of researching on previous studies, an improved algorithm of RTP adaptive transmission control (referred to as the improved algorithm) is proposed. Finally, the experiments are carried out to illustrate that the algorithm can enhance the stabilization of RTP flow, decrease the jitter, and utilize network bandwidth efficiently.
