A microbial flora with capable of degrading cellulose was obtained from soil in this study. The microbial flora can degrade cellulose in a tolerance of pH and the culture. PCR-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE) analyses based on 16S rDNA showed that the flora community contained 8 species of microorganism and it remained constantly after one-year´s incubation.
