Current activities of competent bodies and notified bodies, operating under the EMC Directive

For products where testing is performed without (fully) applying harmonised standards the services of a competent body (CB) are necessary. Most radio transmitters are subject to the conformity assessment procedure, requiring an EC type examination certificate from a notified body (NB).
