Abstract :
Image denoise is a very important method in image quality improvement. And, the image quality evaluation is another important aspect in image processing. In the paper, a novel enhancement algorithm based on wavelet transform (WT) and structure self-similarity (SSS) is introduced, which was attested to algorithm effective for enhancement and confining random noise. The algorithm mainly includes two steps. At first, image was separated into 4N blocks equally based on the self-similarity. And then, wavelet transform coefficients were used to enhance edge characters. At the same time, image noises are also confined. Experiment results show the excellent effect of the algorithm.
