Abstract
Surveillance of elderly and disabled in their habitat needs acquisition of behavioral information by various interfaces. This paper presents a concept and design of intelligent environment for such users. The proposed solution consists in using sensorized appliances typical to a household, reporting their operation via wireless network. The network collects these data, integrates them with motion or health reports and yields a behavioral record. Finally, exploration of real behavioral data leads to a personalized profile of habits, that may be used as a reference in prediction of a health setback.
