Abstract :
The Modular Modeling Design is a modeling method based on a new way of thinking. It combines the characteristic of digital and physical modeling, and fully takes a variety of modeling conditions into account for building the anchors of design when the designer are modeling the product. In the modeling process, use the designing anchors to form the boundary line of different shapes on the basic model. Finally, generate a basic blueprint for product models on the basis of the boundary line. This method greatly improves the accuracy of model and the modeling efficiency during the preliminary phase of design. It is also a new optimized way for the existing modeling method.
