Abstract :
Low cost, low power wireless sensor tags are essential to realize a world wide network that would connect many times more devices than the ones connected today. With the required protocol in place, these wireless sensor tags would allow automatic feeding of sensed data to the internet, rather than the present day prevalent manual approach [Scharfeld, T.A. (2001)]. This phenomenon could lead to the next technological revolution that may change the way we live. This paper details a low cost flexible-substrate wireless sensor tag based on sensor switch element. Simple design and set of integrated low cost desktop fabrication processes are significant in the realization of this tag
