Abstract
The authors report on their work to data on a collaborative project which has the objective of improving industrial software maintenance management through the design and introduction of a comprehensive process model. A framework based on their experience of developing and using different types of process models is presented; this approach enables process models to be developed and used by managers in a beneficial manner to meet organizational objectives and improve existing processes
