Abstract :
The most important technology in the process of designing boring machines is the layout of cutterhead. Based on study of disposing cutters on cutterhead of TBM, this paper proposes a method of disposing cutters and programs a TBM analysis and simulation software. It validates the rationality of the layout of cutterhead by calculating cutterhead´s bending moment and non-counterbalance.
