Abstract
This paper demonstrates Airy Notes system, which monitors environmental condition using tiny sensor modules and shows the characteristics of places intuitively on a map and on a cell phone. The system is designed to help the user´s easy understanding of the effect of green by densely placed sensor nodes. We conducted the experiment of the system in Shinjuku Gyoen Garden with 160 sensors. The garden is known for its effect of keeping temperature of nearby area calm with its green. We monitored the distribution of temperature, and observed that the temperature of the inner place was lower than the edge of the garden.
