Abstract :
Warranty is an important part of new product development recent. Understanding and reducing warranty cost often focuses exclusively on the analysis of product design strategy which have a serious impact on the warranty servicing cost. Effective management of product warranty cost must take into account the link between warranty method and design strategy. Product design is a availability to at the first stage reduce warranty cost. This paper provides the cost information model and product quality warranty decision-making in product life cycle, and develops a cost model needed for effective management of warranty cost.
