Abstract :
We calculate closed analytic expressions for the longitudinal Schottky Signals from beams with Gaussian momentum distribution. All dispersion integrals can be evaluated in terms of complex error functions. Using a Pade approximation for the error functions allows very rapid evaluation of the Schottky spectra
