Abstract :
Usually, attempts are made to distribute the load on each phase equally; in practice these loads are not completely balanced. It results in a net current flow through the neutral wire. The problem of neutral current with nonlinear and unbalanced loads is even more severe. This paper presents a fuzzy logic controlled 3-phase 4-wire shunt active power filter, which offers a viable solution for neutral current compensation and load balancing
