Abstract :
The branch voltage of current-controlled voltage sources (CCVS) is controlled by the current of another branch, which makes it difficult to build node impedances matrix (Z-bus matrix) according to such electric networks. To solve this problem, a novel algorithm for building Z-bus matrix is put forward. The relationships between the current injection, node voltage, branch current and branch voltage are lucubrated to in this paper. Two transitional matrices, MIJ and MVU are introduced. The calculated results between these two matrices cooperating to the kron methods make it to build Z-bus matrix. This algorithm can easily deal with large networks containing CCVS branches. The main structure of the algorithm is illustrated with the help of a 5-bus system and is validated by several IEEE testing systems. So it will be a new sustaining tool for further research with Z-bus matrix.
