Abstract :
Temperature is a very important parameter in the processing of semi-solid magnesium alloy. The accuracy of temperature controlling affects the quality of the magnesium strips directly, so it has a very important meaning to enhance the temperature controlling precision. But the resistant furnace, which is the object of the controlling, has the characteristics of nonlinearity, time varying, pure delaying and unidirectional heating, these characteristics make it very difficult to control. Fuzzy control technology was used in temperature control of the resistant furnace in this paper. Temperature acquisition and control in manufacturing process was done by the controlling module ADAM4000. The fuzzy controller controlled according to the temperature deviation and the changing rate of the deviation. It is fast and effective, with high precision. The temperature acquisition and fuzzy control system made by ourselves was proved to be satisfying in the rheo-casting experiments of semisolid magnesium alloy strips, the precision could approach to ±1K.
