Abstract :
Present a high-speed vehicle-mounted measurement method of the road shape. The measurement system´s hardware is composed of two accelerometers, a laser displacement sensor, a data acquisition device and a vehicular computer. The software algorithm in MATLAB uses the longitudinal acceleration signal which are detected by the accelerometers as the main input signal to obtain longitudinal displacement of the detection beam by filtering and quadratic integral method, then use the calculated displacement of detection beam and the signal of laser sensor to get the vertical section curve of the road shape. The algorithm is simple and efficient, less errors, suitable for most of the road surface shape measurement.
