  • Abstract
    Spatio-temporal equalization is important in modern digital wireless communications which often suffer from the problems caused by the inter-symbol interference (ISI) and co-channel interference (CCI). So far, several subband or frequency-domain adaptive array processing methods implementing spatio-temporal equalization have been proposed for the purpose of reducing the implementation complexity as well as improving the convergence performance. We consider subband arrays with different decimation rates. The steady-state performance of subband adaptive arrays with different decimation rates is analyzed and compared with conventional space-time adaptive processing algorithms.
