Abstract :
This paper proposes a simulation model to explore the physical characteristics of hybrid vehicle traffic flow on the road section. To show the impact of buses´ stopping, a discrete-time simulation method is presented with the definitely operational strategies. The numerical experiments show that the designed model and simulation method can well describe the movement of hybrid vehicle flow with the impact of buses´ stopping. The results provide a suitable tool to show the mechanism of traffic congestion on the blocks.
