Abstract
An automatic generation of numerical-control tapes for a highly sophisticated machining center is presented. Input to the system is geometrical information of work to be done, while its output is a tape which drives the machining center. The program can handle a shape which consists of a combination of elementary surfaces, such as planes, spheres, and cones.<>
