Abstract
On the base of the introduction of characteristics of confined space, the paper analyses atmospheric hazards, including oxygen-deficient atmospheres, flammable atmospheres and toxic atmospheres, presents the two types of direct reading atmospheric testing equipment, and puts forwards the consideration of gas monitor choice and the principle of conducting atmospheric testing in confined space.
