Abstract :
After consulting the advantages of LSB that changing the low bit planes of images will not cause the evident change of the visual effect, and the advantage of image fusion that can resist JPEG compresses, a watermark embedding algorithm is designed, which is based on image fusion and can resist JPEG compression. During improving the formula of image fusion and analyzing the reason of the precision losing of JPEG compression, the algorithm is put forward that embedding the watermark to the carrier image within the low four bit planes of the fitting area of the high frequency area of brightness matrix after the DCT of the carrier image. The experiment data showed that this algorithm had better hiding effect and was more powerful on resisting the JPEG compression. It could clearly extract the watermark image from JPEG compressed image under the condition of low fusion coefficient. So it had high applicational value.
