  • Abstract
A new idea based on electromagnetic theory is advanced to research on the pore forming law in electrochemical machining (ECM) with fixed cathode in the paper. The mathematical model representing the actual EC perforating process is given based on this new idea. Moreover, the experimental results are obtained to verify the mathematical model. A precise theoretical basis is provided in order to apply ECM with fixed cathode rationally in the future in the paper.
