Abstract :
Necessary and sufficient conditions are derived for the existence of a stabilizing controller such that a specified closed-loop transfer function Ger(s) has H norm less than one, and such that Ger(s ) satisfies generalized boundary constraints on the jω-axis (including infinity). The result is derived for the four-block control problem. For the one-block problem the result is extended to the case in which the plant has jω-axis poles/zeros
