Abstract :
The author analyzes the quasi-two-dimensional problem rigorously, where the incident angle is oblique to X-axis of the wire grating, the polarization is TM to Z-direction, and the grating is embedded in the dielectric slab. The analytical method used is the magnetic vector potential (two-components) method for an equivalent magnetic walled H-waveguide with spacing equal to the wire grating period. The analysis can be used to design multilayer gratings using the network cascade method.<>
