Abstract :
By in-situ investigation and datum collection, the natural environment, social and economic condition in Changgou county of Zhalong national natural reserve (short for Zhalong N N R) were introduced, and it´s influence on habitat that stoped off in Zhalong N N R was analyzed. Results show that food-hunt conflict between local human being living and hooded crane stopped over in Changgou County exists, which may affect hooded crane survival. Agriculture income is the main living source, with less than 2000 RMB a-1. Total amount of food hunted by hooded crane reached to 60 t a-1 when stopover in Changgou during the spring and fall immigration to breeding and live-through-winter habitat. Such great amount of food requirement would influence local farmer´s living quality somewhat. According to the survey, 85 per cent farmer would choose to drive hooded crane out of their agricultural land when viewing crane catching crops. Some funds devoted by local government and reserve management system for compensating foodstuff caught by hooded crane is a way to settle conflict between local living and hooded crane survival.
