Abstract :
Base on the equivalent circuit of ship drive motor, the optimal running efficiency is deduced. With vector control technology the motor efficiency optimization control strategy and its application limit is given. Modeling in Saber, the paper compares efficiencies of efficiency optimization control with conventional vector control by simulation. It is validated that motor efficiency is improved. Dynamic response of drive motor is analyzed after efficiency optimization, for that a torque compensator is designed to improve dynamic response. The control strategy satisfying requirements of efficiency and dynamic response is evaluated.
