Abstract :
In this paper equipment for automatically welding nipples onto a header is presented. This paper first introduces the composition of the robot working unit, then describes the system working principle. An intelligent testing apparatus for measuring nipple position has been designed. It makes the robot weld the nipples onto the header accurately and ensures the weld quality
