Abstract :
This paper is for the slagging and fouling on heat transfer surfaces of power plant boiler. Based on theory of Entropy Production, irreversible energy loss of convective heating surfaces was analyzed, and a theoretical model of entropy production has been established for each loss. A theoretical model of total entropy production and entropy production number has been established. Based on the collection of real-time data, the entropy production number of low temperature superheater is calculated and analyzed before and after soot-blowing. The entropy production number changing characteristic of heat transfer surface is summarized. Thereby some view on entropy production number is drawn, which has both reference value and engineering practice sense for soot-blowing optimization of power plant.
