Abstract
In this paper, a block input-output control technique is developed for nonlinear discrete-time systems. The state-space model of the system is assumed to have well-defined relative degree, to be locally observable, and to be minimum phase. The technique is applied to a class of pulse-width modulated systems that includes switching amplifiers.
