Abstract :
A systematic and consistent method for the exact synthesis of bandpass filters implemented with an isolated cascade connection of same order lowpass and highpass Butterworth filters is presented. The design technique allows computing values of main design parameters directly from some initial specifications. Finally, the proposed design procedure is proven to be useful in the synthesis of a specific wideband filter response.
