Abstract :
Summary form only given. The concept of structures of knowledge consist of the understanding of the relationships and the elements that compose the knowledge base. Knowledge structures subsidize the understanding of the members of an organisation´s relationships, behaviour and actions. Objectives, beliefs (cause-effect) and cognitive elements characterise its domain. Then it is verified that knowledge structures would be a powerful tool for the description of organizational actions and also for an organizational project, with the organization being represented as a cognitive entity. Trying to describe the knowledge base that would represent knowledge structures in a generic way, some organizational dimensions could serve as a starting point to this diagnosis. To exemplify the use of the proposed model, manuals, rules and flowcharts are observed in the dimension of the organizational structures, as the elements that could be used to identify and to characterize the routines and procedures, which constitute part of the knowledge structure
