Abstract :
Ascertained the rotation-angle equation of plate-cam with flat-bottom follower according to layout tolerance, established relationship between the error and cam rotation-angle. Realized the changeable angle-step segmentation and the layout error of every interpolation equals to the given tolerance. In the condition of the allowed precision, interpolation times are the minimum and the production efficiency is the highest. Experiment showed that when the layout tolerance was 0.005 mm, the straight line interpolation numbers in the rising course were 126, and the maximum speed, the maximum acceleration, the maximum saltus and the maximum rotation-angle-step were respectively 0.24 m/s, 2.78 m/s2, | -32.68 m/s3 | and 1.326°. The interpolation numbers in the return course were 97, and the maximum speed, the maximum acceleration, the maximum saltus and the maximum rotation-angle were respectively |-0.32 m/s|, | -4.94 m/s2 |, 77.47 m/s3 and 1.545°. On the basis of interpolation points obtained by the straight line interpolation and using arc interpolation can reduce the layout error. Each connections spot of arcs was tangential and the actual layout was smoothing.
