Abstract :
In order to solve the problem of determining the optimal customizing point under customer´s requirement of customizing different kinds of product, with the supply chain covering product life cycle as research object, according to different positions from which the customizing action begins, three types of supply chain when customer order decoupling point (CODP) positioning at manufacturing, assembly and delivery were analysed. On this basis, aiming at minimizing the total cost of product operation supply chain, constrained by delivery lead time, product value-adding ability, productivity and logistics ability, three types of CODP positioning mathematical model were separately set up. Three models were simulating by MATLAB combining with case data, the optimal customizing point of every supply chain model was determined, thus realize customizing production of different kinds of product and minimizing enterprise´s total cost.
