Abstract
An electrical tree structure in a laminated dielectric structure is modelled using fractal geometry techniques. The influence of permittivity of the material on tree growth was introduced in the model by solving a finite difference equation, which can handle the dielectric-dielectric interface. The structure of the tree was characterised using fractal dimensions
