Abstract :
Building cooling, heating and power (BCHP) system is an attracting distributed energy system for its economic and environmental friendly qualities. A micro-scale BCHP (MBCHP) system is proposed to use in several laboratory rooms of a new building. The system mainly consists of a micro gas turbine (MGT) and an absorption chiller-heater. Waste heat exhausted from the MGT can be recovered by the absorption chiller-heater for HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning) of the rooms. Such a system is able to provide electricity, heating in winter and air condition in summer. The analysis of its performance is presented.
