Abstract :
This paper presents a new method for solving the problem of designing dynamic interconnection network using Genetic algorithms. Three parameters are considered: network latency, hardware complexity and degree of reliability. Two types of faults are simulated, the link fault and the switch fault. A GA based package was developed to study the effect of the various parameters affecting the design problem. Results proved the effectiveness of the proposed technique
