Abstract :
The variety of gears is various, and the gears´ structures and sizes needed in different situations are unlike, so the conventional development couldn´t satisfy the marketable requirement already. According to the analysis of straight spur gear´s structure, parametric 3D modeling and secondary development based on Pro/e are carried through, and then realized the gear´s parametric 3D design. Thus, improved design efficiency of the gear, reduced designer´s duplicate work and the cost.
