Abstract :
In the present paper, the loss and the regeneration of LMW silicone fluid in HTV silicone rubber are investigated in a simulated aging environment at different elevated temperatures. The LMW fluid was extracted at each stage of aging and the amount of regenerated fluid was measured. The molecular distribution of dimethylsiloxane in the LMW fluid was identified using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry
