Abstract :
In order to produce protein animal feed from lactic acid residue of food waste, Saccharomyces cerrvisae was inoculated into the residue and corresponding fermentation parameters, such as effect of lactic acid bacteria and lactate, acidy environment, sterilization and nutritious supplements were determined. The experimental results showed that the existence of Lactobacillus had no influence on yeast fermentation, but the acidity environment would inhibit the growth of Saccharomyces cerrvisae and affected animal feed production, adding CaCO3 could be a proper method, so the sterilization was not necessary for residues before yeast fermentation. Nutritious supplements played a remarkable role on yeast fermentation. The crude protein content of food waste, lactic acid fermentation residue and animal feed were 19.81%, 24.23% and 30.1% respectively. Making use of lactic acid residues of food waste to produce protein feed could realize whole reclamation of food wastes, which has guiding significance to reduce the costs of food waste lactic fermentation process.
