Abstract :
To study the ash deposition behavior in slagging mode gasifier, a comprehensive three-dimensional model proposed in the previous paper was applied to a two-stage dry feed entrained flow gasifier. The Eulerian-Lagrangian approach was used in the model for calculating the gas-solid two-phase flow. And the PDF combustion model was used to simulate the complicated gasification reactions in the gasifier. The simulation results indicated that a majority of ash particle are deposited on the wall areas between the injectors in the same level to provide a well protection of the wall from the highest temperature there, and the temperature condition of gas and particles inside of the gasifier can ensure a smooth discharge of the molten slag along the wall. The throat wall should be protected specially.
