Abstract :
A new traffic control algorithm for a hot-spot cell in mobile communication systems is described. The proposed traffic control algorithm will enable multimedia services to be delivered to networks by adopting measured BER (bit error rate). Simulation is shown that the proposed algorithm yields better performance than the conventional algorithm on condition that the heavy transient status is increased in terms of packet call admission rate.
