Abstract :
New mechanisms have recently been introduced to support communications with mobile nodes. But until now, the focus has been either on unicast communications or on multicast communications, but a unified solution has not been proposed. A new protocol has been described, called M-LAR (logical addressing and routing for mobile nodes) and an overview of its implementation has also been presented. This protocol offers a new framework to support seamless communications with mobile nodes on the Internet new generation.
