Abstract :
Harmonic gear drives are widely used in various departments of industry field. Limited by traditional machining method, the machining accuracy of harmonic gear has a direct effect on the quality of harmonic drive and volume-produce. This paper invented a new viewpoint on harmonic gear cold-rolling tooth from process system. The harmonic gear tooth cold-rolling process is a pitch-variable rolling process, which depending on the changes of the diameter of rolling circle throughout the entire process. The factors affecting on the cold-rolling accuracy of harmonic gear tooth were obtained, which provided the theoretical basis for improving accuracy.
