Abstract :
Single-reflection results for both a two and a four coupled-cavity thin-film allpass filter are reported. This is followed by a discussion of an improved version of the multi-reflection device. All filters are composed entirely of quarter wavelength layers of commonly available thin-film materials SiO/sub 2/ and Ta/sub 2/O/sub 5/. We show adjustable dispersion-slope compensation.
