Abstract :
Series of batch anaerobic digestion treatments were performed on the cow-manure, bioorganic municipal waste (BMW) and their mixtures to investigate their biogas production potential. Base on the different combination of cow-manure and bioorganic municipal waste, the experiments were conducted to 6 groups under the mesophilic condition of 37 °C for 50 d. The results showed. In batch experiments it was shown that: (1) the ultimate experimental biogas production potential of cow-manure to BMW by 1/2 and 2/1 was 0.66 1/gVS and0.711/gVS, enhanced by 50% and 29%, respectively;(2) the methane content of the four difference rate materials was about 50-55% and the ultimate bioenergy yield was evaluated from observations to be 17.58-19.34 MJ/ m3; (3) the efficiency of cow-manure to BMW by 1/2 was most high during co-digestion; the gas production during first 10 days and 20 days was 55.4% and 92.2% in total; (4) the ultimate biodegradability of 4 difference materials were 46.99, 53.31, 70.12 and 66.26%, respectively.
