Abstract :
Power line networks can be used as the signal propagation channels to transfer high frequency signals. In order to employ all three phases power lines to transfer more data, a new communications channel model is constructed in this paper base on the multiconductor transmission line theory by the help of the reflection matrix, which hasn´t been mentioned before. The proposed model has included the source inner admittance matrix and the load admittance matrix, which make the model simulate the practical power line networks easily. At the same time, the distribution of the signals in the form of reflection matrix is quite useful when simulating. A complete solution of the voltages and currents on all three phases lines is derived in detailed in this paper, and therefore the signal strength of power line networks can be predicted. The comparison between theoretical results and measurements has been done and a good agreement between model results and measurements is found, which means the proposed model and the derived formula are correct
