Abstract :
The problems and research directions involved in creating a wide class of distributed computer networks and the effective principles of data encoding in realizing digital communication channels are analyzed. We consider the directions of development for the range of optical-frequency transfer systems for the given multi-level computer networks. The advantages of fiber-optic communication lines using opened optical channels are compared. We show the perspectives of the distributed computer networks´ development on the basis of opened optical channels. We also state the theoretical basis for multi-level computer network construction with opened optical channels. Also, we describe the architectures of different classes of multi-level computer networks with opened optical channels. In addition, we consider the application advantages of those computer networks which use an opened optical channel
